Booking Policy

All sessions require a non-refundable retainer to secure your date and time.

  • A 50% deposit is required.

  • Your booking is confirmed only after the retainer and signed agreement are received. Remaining balances must be paid on the day of your session.

Payments

Payments can be made via Zelle, Cash, or invoice (debit/credit).

All balances must be paid before images are delivered.

Returned checks are subject to a $50 fee, and clients are responsible for any legal or collection costs.

Rescheduling & Cancellations

  • Changes to your session date or location must be made at least 48 hours in advance.

  • Reschedules made within 48 hours will incur a $50 rescheduling fee.

  • Clients may reschedule once without penalty.

  • Cancellations within 24 hours of the session will result in a charge of the full session fee.

  • Emergencies (medical, family loss, etc.) may be handled at the photographer’s discretion.

All cancellations or reschedules must be communicated in writing to visualsbyshamphotography@gmail.com.

Failure to Perform

Visuals By Sham is committed to cheerful cooperation and professional results.

However, the photographer cannot be held responsible for missed shots due to:

  • Weather, lateness, or lack of cooperation

  • Venue restrictions or guest interference

  • Camera or equipment malfunctions outside of control

Clients are responsible for any location fees or permits related to their session.

Turnaround Time

Final images will be delivered within 7 days of the shoot unless otherwise stated in writing.

Rush delivery is available for a fee.

Copyright & Usage

All images remain the copyrighted property of Visuals By Sham.

Clients receive a personal-use license for printing and sharing.

Images cannot be sold, edited, or used for commercial purposes without a commercial license.

Visuals By Sham reserves the right to use images for portfolio, website, and promotional purposes unless otherwise agreed in writing. When posting online, please credit @visualsxsham as the photographer.

Exclusive Photographer

To ensure quality and consistency, Visuals By Sham must be the sole photographer during the session.

Guests are asked not to use flash or interfere with shooting.

Garment Responsibility

The photographer is not liable for clothing damage or environmental effects during the shoot. Clients are encouraged to bring assistance for outfit changes or adjustments.

Force Majeure

In the event of uncontrollable circumstances (e.g., fire, extreme weather, accident, etc.), Visuals By Sham’s liability is limited to a refund of payments made, minus the retainer and expenses.
